Professional Background
Atty. Diosdado is a seasoned and veteran lawyer and academician, a licensed professional teacher no less, with forty years of experience, having passed the grueling 1986 Bar Exams, which were marked by a period of transition, legally and politically, for the Republic.
Among his badges of honor is heading the Professional Regulation Commission’s (PRC) Legal Division for more than a decade. In this role, he evaluated administrative complaints involving various professionals, including doctors, engineers, architects, nurses, and professional teachers, among others. He further distinguished himself at the PRC by serving as Officer-in-Charge (OIC) of the Office of the Director – Licensure Office and Office of the Chief – Examination Division, respectively.
As an academician, Atty. Diosdado taught at multiple universities in Metro Manila, including St. Jude College and the Universidad de Manila. On top of his experience as an educator, he also served as the Acting Dean of the Philippine College of Criminology’s (PCCR) Criminology School where he mentored and guided numerous police officers through his tutelage who later became distinguished themselves in their careers.
